Structure and Planning
Financial support and management of this corporation will take several forms. While it continues to grow in small but consistent ways the majority of the support will be from the Shadowserver Foundation, a US 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Both organisations’ missions are similar. We also plan on taking in different sponsor donations as well as participating in different EU initiatives and projects.
To achieve a level of financial sustainability this will require some time for the different sponsorships to start.
Expected Costs and Maintenance
The cost breakdown for running Shadowserver EU is as follows:
- 2014 - Will not exceed 25k Euros. Costs will be related to the creation and basic operation of the corporation. The exact amount will be listed once the end of year is achieved.
- 2015 - 25k Euros to 100k Euros expenses for operating the corporation.
